Hi everyone.
Im new here :)

I have a 87 blazer LS.

Has been a little sluggish for a month. Then one day it wouldn't start.Turns over fine.I can hear the fuel pump wine ok too.
Held down the accelerator, floored it,and it started.
Then one day nothing.
Tried it till battery needed a recharge.lol
So it sat a day, then the guy at the garage said turn it on till the pump quits winning, then turn off, wait 30 seconds, and try to start.
It worked..
So figured it might of been some air in the line somehow,or it built up enough back flow of fuel,to finally catch and start.

So worked fine for 3 weeks.
Now same thing again and I can't get it started this time.
Mabe fuel filter?

Wondering where to start on it first.
Also once in awhile it will spark and try or at least sputter like it wants to start, but no catch for a full start.
Any help would be appreciated.

Its a 4.3 i believe.

Oh,
Also i wanted to mention that when the fuel pump stops winning, and i go to turn it over ,the pump wines again.
