Sold '87 cluster

I have a cluster that I pulled from an '87 K10. I had cleaned it and painted the main housing silver, put it back in, then parted the truck out.
The gear indicator is broken and the lens got used on another truck.
Everything worked when I pulled it.
$40 shipped in the lower 48.

Will this work on an 84? Wasnt sure how different they got in 3 years...

As far as I know, it would be fine, but I don't believe '84 has the VSS in use.
