Here are some old wheeling pictures. When the truck was stock, Lifted with 36's, and as it sits now. It looks like frame flex in the picture going up the hill. I later found out it was the body mount bushing bottoms had fallen off and the cab wasnt attached to the frame. I got a 2wd drive cab to replace the original. You can see the dimond plate flat bed upside down in the picture of the frame. The frame was sandblasted and primed with ryoken green.

My plans for the truck are gonna be a trail truck that will go down the road just as well as thru the woods. Once I get the axles back under it, run all the lines and wiring the new cab goes under the knife. Rock sliders of sorts. Rust repair on the cab corners. Covering A/C holes. Diamond plate flat bed needs the corners bobbed.

Build thread back from the dead!! After a long spring/summer of racing its back to the truck! Plus I am gonna be loosing my 3 bay garage where I currently work on it. So nows theres a dead line of sorts! Got the 2wd cab ready to come off the 2wd frame and get ready for the 4wd frame. Pics to follow in the next couple days

I am not very good at updating this or taking pictures for that matter . Here is the new cab with floor boards patched, cab corners, and rockers replaced. Cut the rocker off at the lip where the door meets the rocker. Then welded on the 2"x3" 3/16 wall tubing. Was just gonna patch the cab supports and said the hell with it lets replace them with tubing!

Got both sides welded in tonight. Gonna grind the welds down a bit clean up the joints and put the seam sealer to it.

Not sure where I got the idea . (Ryoken) Should be pretty good got alot of work left. Just cut out the transmission hump from the old cab gotta fit that. Dress the welds and strip the last of the bottom of the cab. Then more zinc, primer, and its looking like its gonna get al's liner

the tube way is just sooooooo much more substantial than that factory stamped stuff...

Before I flipped the cab over I welded in the sliders with 2/3 tubing. Flipped it over to patch the floor supports. Plan was to use angle iron or something to patch a couple bad spots that where there. Took the left over tubing from the sliders and found it was almost a direct replacment for the supports! Works out real good. Cheaper than buying replacments from LMC to

Slowly making progress. Got the bottom of the ca lined with Al's Liner today came out pretty good. Impressed with it so far. Very easy to apply.
