Went To check under my Jimmy For A Leak I have Been Aware Of,
Found the Np-208 Still Leaking (a Drip Bubble )was not, moving but the T- case, Body and Frame was wet with ATF
I Parked it Level, blocked tires ,droped n'pulled shaft,
Waited for t-Case Extension hounsing to stop driping,,,
Got Seal Puller Pulled Seal,,
Took a Replacement from a Parts Hose,, National,fedral-Mongul#3946 Seemed A little Bigger than hole,, looked closer at old seal >#15002
Under the truck on my back They Looked close,,,Bad Judgement!
Took a Little Pressure Taping it in,, with hammer and Realy Large 1'' drive socket No luck ,,after several trys,,re examined seal Now Damamged,,, $16.00,,,Got Second seal From Parts house,,same Part # .
Pulled the Extension Housing and cleaned it up,,
Placed Seal on hole,,No wonder It Would Not Go in,,
Got My Auto Measrement Caliper, it is a 1/16-to 1/8th Across,,wider than Original Seal
Edit;
At Napa Auto Parts counter We Found The Seal# 18992,(Napa Part #)
For the 87 NP-208 Transfer Case Output shaft to Slider Yoke on Drive Shaft,fit My Extesion Housing
The Other Parts House "Orileys" listing # 3946 was For a 97 Transfer Case,Listing Error???
The Other # 15002,Was Maybe another unknown Brand but fits,,,
Note; also The Napa Seal has a Dark Green Paint for sealing ,,at contact point on Alluminum Housing
while the other two Seals had Chevy Orange,
It Appears That The Seal from the Previous Owners Service > Left Green Paint Pigment In Seal Collar Seat,,
