Just to be clear: NO PARTING OUT WILL OCCUR!!! I would cry if I parted it out, I really would!!!

1987 GMC Jimmy K5:
new crate motor (stock specs) 350, Hedman 69830 headers, ac-delco new plugs, wires, and distributor cap.
Rebuilt sm465 with ORD custom 35 spline short shaft conversion (professionally rebuilt, I think I sent it to Novak, I will check my receipts to make sure) with new clutch, new bellhousing, new throwout bearing, new clutch fork, (hydro setup is untouched stock, works great!)
4&3/4" adapter to 203 (hence the short shaft conversion)
ORD rebuilt 203 and 205 doubler with 2" upclock, triple sticks, Ford 32 spline front output, H.A.D. driveline e-brake, custom H.A.D. driveshafts with long front slip, rear CV and 1410 U-joints throughout, and Clay (Bushwhacker) built custom crossmember with 1/4" thick steel skidplate.
Dana 60 with 4.56 gears, 35 spline shafts Spicer 5-806X U-joints, ARB airlocker, brand new inner axle seals, MAD4WD outer axle seals, freshly packed bearings, and brand new Dynatrac 35 spline Dynaloc hubs (bling-bling!!!), SOLID diff cover, ORD crossover and PSC hydro assist. (about $5000 in this axle alone!)
Rear corporate 14 bolt full floater, 4.56 gears, Detroit locker, disc conversion, SOLID cover, I believe it was military surplus (was in a crate when I bought it from K45, gears looked un-ran when we put on the SOLID cover).
3" Tuff Country EZ rides up front with greasable bolts and poly bushings (also has ORD steering box weld in frame reinforcement and box brace) rear is stock springs with ORD shackle flip, inboarded shocks out back, Superduty towers up front, Bilstein 5150's at all four corners (rides great!!!)
Set of 5- Hummer H2 takeoff rims shod with 37" Cooper Discoverer STT muds with great tread depth (spare has never seen the road)
Rocksliders made by Rides of Conover
CUCV front and rare bumpers that are ready for paint (have been sandblasted to bare metal) with all new grade mixture of grade 5 and grade 8 bolts.

All the above listed parts have less than 1000 miles on them. There is (unfortunately) no way to verify my claim to this since the speedo cable decided to give up the ghost but, those who know me know this truck has hardly ever been driven since we put it all together (mileage is likely less than 1000). The engine still has the oil we first put in it (needs changed, not due to mileage but due to being 3 years old now!). This does give you the chance to decide whether you want to run synthetic, blend, or conventional though as the engine is new enough to have never gotten used to one certain kind! I only ever wheeled this rig twice, once at Uwharrie and once at a not very deep random mud hole.

Things I have forgotten to mention (though I am sure I will be adding more):
Flex-a-lite electric fan conversion!!!
Piaa back up lights (great!!!)
Hella Rallye 4000 euro beam lights (3)
Haynes repair book
1987 GM dealership repair book (a nice find!)
LMC bright headlight conversion (just needs a few bugs worked out)
Full set of Twisted Stitch Suspension seats in black vinyl (un-installed)
black replacement dash pad
Heater box only conversion with new dash panel
New complete TBI gasket set in box
Serpentine belt setup of a 91 sitting on my toolbox
N.O.S. manual tailgate glass crank
N.O.S. pickup tailgate goes with!

This truck’s drivetrain is mechanically perfect but overall, could use some other work.
The bad:
The only gauge that works is the gas gauge
One of the P.O.'s made a spaghetti bowl mess of the under dash wiring
The tranny tunnel needs some reinforcement and general TLC
The front and rear fender fangs were cut so, looks a little goony with stock style bumpers
The paint looks good but there are a few dents and when it was painted, the roof peal was never feathered out so, you can see the texture of it through the paint.
Some (but VERY little) rust, most was eliminated when we installed brand new LMC front inner fenders
The interior is gutted (though the stock seats and a set of stock belts go with it, none but the driver seat are bolted in)
The H.A.D. e-brake works but constantly drags and the lever set-up I went with takes a little getting used to.
There are odd plates attached to the floor (just bolted in but, the holes are drilled through) where my failed attempt at a roll cage build was attached).

Overall, the condition of the truck is good, just needs some work to be great!

Pricing: $10,000 obo. I have all the receipts, over $25k in this truck!!!!

Warning: this truck is not currently inspected or registered, no are the seatbelts bolted in so, plan on trailering it home. I CANNOT deliver as I now have no way of towing it.

Reason for selling- fiancee gave me the go ahead to buy a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon if I traded in my tow rig/DD and sold my toy (this Jimmy).

Pics to come!

[FONT=&quot]Make me a reasonable offer, I am willing to deal, quicker I sell this is the quicker I can buy stuff for my new Rubi!!!

Any pics y'all wanna see?

Truck runs great! Starts right up on the first key turn, exhaust sounds great!!! (Hedman headers with 2.5" Y leading into 3" single with high flow cat and a Flowmaster clone (I forget what make it is but, it looks and sounds very similar to a Flowmaster))

Take it for a spin around the block, I'd just ask no public road areas as it is not currently licensed or insured (and has no driver's side seat belt bolted in, it's still in a box! LOL!) :thumb:

I'm loving it, I just don't have much $$$ for it.

It's a great looking rig :bow::bow::bow::waytogo:
