87 headlight problem

I have a problem with my head lights on my 87 k5 I put aftermarket nonsealed lamps in it and a little while after When I turn my lamps on the top ones are dimmer and the bottoms are on the when I hit my brights the bottoms only are on? Any sugestions?

Check all grounds and the headlight plugs, they usually get sucky with time, mine fell of once or twice.

I changed both plugs and my lights are still doing the same? anyone have anyideas
