man, I'm at that build stage where I'm trying to dig up stupid misc parts from where I stored em a few yrs ago... and it's just the stupidest, not easily replaced, type items...
on the current list of stupid stuff i need to dig thru the attic for...
stupid L-bracket for the lower dash.. you can see it missing in this pic...
goofy L-shaped clip that mounts the cowl grill....
1 body mount cup.. it's in the dungeon.... somewhere....
one of my faults.... for as organized as I know how to be, labeled bags, yada, I don't practice it much here at home.. I think it's a rebellious anti-dad, engineer type thing from when I was a kid, the most organized, list-making man I know....

It is nearly impossible to do at home, at least to me. I know what I have, but there is a whole lot of it that I couldn't find for days if I needed it. But, I can get a call from my Dad looking for a tool or something in his garage, and I can tell him where I last saw it. I don't even have to go to his house, I can always remember, not a chance in my own garage.
Some day I will either have my stuff organized, or give up working on vehicles. I am still not sure which is going to happen first.

ok, hopefully I'll be going over at lunch tomorrow and picking up hardener. so i can douche this thing in primer, get it wetsanded and in black by the end of the week..

I like it, but how easily will hot air just be drawn through the foam?

it wont, it is a closed cell foam..
That is what I was curious about. I know this is very common, and have seen lots of them, but usually with a shorter piece of foam. Didn't know if that would be a concern or not.
