87 K5 Build...Hmmm, whats that Ryoken up to? stay tuned...

I run the 5/16 Painless lights in my dash for turn, yada, yada....

at the time, it was the easiest, quickest decision on my part.. I think I was so blown out from making the dash, they where the convenient solution... They are very effective.. tho asthetically, in hindsight, I'd like ones without the trim ring...

I much prefer the smaller lens only LED Blue Sea System ones in my glovebox..

How big is the light? That picture makes it look like it has 10 gage wires.

5/16 diameter.. Painless also makes a 1/2", I run that in blue and amber for hi beam and 4x4.. and they also make a 1/8, which I haven't used, and may be similar to the BlueSeas I like....

hey, the way the economy, and my marina are headed, it may be my line of work soon...:crazy::o:haha:

I actually appreciate my breaker panel more, and think it's tricker than the dash... well, when I get around to finishing it... :o:doah::haha:

How are the marinas? I know I haven't taken my boat out but a few times last year. Of course I don't have a yacht like most boat owners at the marinas:D

well, some are hurting, others are doing ok.. we would have been ok, under the private ownership.. good marinas are doing ok.. but our new corporate a$$hats have nearly run us into the ground.. we're scrambling, down to 7 billable people from 17 or so...

but obviously EVERYONE is paranoid right now.. well, except me... the economy doesn't really affect me on any level, other than the entire company not getting a cost of living raise this year.. but we expected that... I made more money last year than ever...

they hate me, but would be retarded to let me leave, and they know it... :o

haha, talked to them this morn... :haha: thanks...

my welder buddy turned me on to them, out on the westside of the state... he said, 2 days, 7 to $8 a foot... little bit more than I wanted to pay... wont have the coin till next week anyway.. so I'm still shopping a bit for now... I think midwest4x4 was about $7 a foot, after shipping, to my door.. so i'll have to see... those are 9's tho.. really wanted a long one for the B-hoop.. didn't want to have to make a sleeved splice or anything...

Before you commit.....Give these guys a call.....

Marmon/Keystone (302)328-8000

I got a quote for 1 3/4" .120 DOM last month for $3.75 per foot.
Their located in Del, right across the river from NJ. If you need I can pick it up and meet you half way or something.

oooo, ooo, thanks... big time... I'll try them monday! the earliest I'll have coin up is next thurs, if not the week after.. I'll give them a hola monday...

I figure for some of these, $100 or so truck freight'll be worth it..,. thats more the # I was looking for.,..

and mucho mucho appreciate the hook up offer.. I wouldn't consider hitting you up, but the info is much appreciated...and the ride for me would be probably be worth it at that kinda price...
