sorry I missed this bud... actually.. no clue.. it was THE only decent pic I could find in Google images of that model... and for as familiar as I am with Garmin, Raytheon, etc, I'm not familiar with any marine, I'll say, engine management software like that... probably a newer race boat setup that I haven't seen yet... that monitor has not been out long...

oh, RB... I'm pretty familiar with QQ's in this state being a hotrodder all these yrs... I know about all the "need to be going somewhere", "mileage", etc limitations, but I had never heard anything about it having to be stock.. the majority of cars I see at car shows with QQ are slightly to heavily modded.... I'm guessing the stock part isn't something heavily enforced...

afaiknew, you just had to have a purpose in driving it, could be a car show, could be taking it for repairs, etc without a day of week limitation... it's not something I want to do for the obvious annoyance reasons, just a possible option i suppose...

the immediate thing I know they could technically fail me for are... running 38's on a 1/2 ton... tho, it'll go thru inspection on borrowed 35's, but I'll run the 38's around the streets after a good sticker...

my door height is right on with 38's, plenty on 35's... the truck has no AIR, but not all 87's had it... and we'll leave the whole Megasquirt ECM biz between us bro's... ;)

I'm pretty sure I can get it thru inspection... obviously it'll be built to the hilt and I seriously doubt the clowns at tilt inspection could even come close to building a rig like mine... I'm hoping it makes anyone looking at it get stupid, inspectors, cops, etc.... :haha:

I did the tilt test at the Asbury location and while the guy was an idiot and in love with the huge ass mudflaps I threw on. He did go over the truck with a fine tooth comb. He was checking everything, jacked the truck up and checked the kingpins, all suspension components, just absolutely everything. I was there a for at least 2 hours and my truck doesn't get emissions checked being a diesel, so that would add even more time.

It took me a while to get through this whole build up and I have to say I on the edge of my seat waiting for updates. AMAZING job thus far!! I love the fact that you're a skater too. Nice quiver. I especially love your Alva board with the Misfits and Dead Kennedy's decals!! I got rid of my short boards for a Loaded Vangaurd to kick around on in my old age.

I gotcha... Remember sticker has your tire size and so do your papers.. So as long as the cop doesnt want to be a jerk.. Youll be ok

hey thanks man.... :D I miss skating so bad.... I'm hopeful once I work thru this health issue I'm having, that I can at least get back to tooling around some flatland this summer... even busting some powerslides down at the tennis courts would make me happy...

finally got the Dungeon pretty cleaned up in prep of getting back to work... it's been awhile, and apologize to everyone for the deadness of this thread pertaining to actual progress... But I've been having some heart issues in addition to the bad back that I'm trying to deal with and correct at the moment... once that's back on track, I plan on fully attacking the Dungeon...

hmmmm, didn't realize they do the tire size on the sticker.. thanks for the info! :D

Hey Paul build it like you want, which seems to me mostly streetable, then get the trailer, even being totally streetable if you ever do long trips ( you know we all want to see you at blazer bash one of these years) having the trailer is the only way to go.

Take this from a guy who has driven to Moab several times in his rig and a couple places even further. 800 miles on 40" Iroks isn't bad but it sure wears out the tires.

The trailer also allows you to be more stupid. Its nice I like being stupid :D

That's exactly the plan Eric.. even if it's just wheeling out in Pennsy, having a trailer/towrig frees me up to flog it without fear of not getting home.. yet, I can still run around for anything local...

Uh Oh a Ryoken 2nd gen Dodge build :). Looking forward to hearing what you do about the incredibly troublesome front end as Im dealing with it rite now and am considering just leaving it til I can swap the drive train in a K30. Or of course just swap in leaf springs and a real dana 60.... Hope your back gets better man!

nope, ended up with an 89 Chevy 4x4 CC dually! :haha: 454/465/205, 60/70....

maybe a Cummins WAY down the road.. for now I'm content with a BB.... it'll more than likely end up as a temp fill in this thread till I get back to the K5....

Looks like a good start! Is that going to have a build thread too?
