87 k5 gas tank not venting

So after sitting all winter I tried to put gas in my k5 and it just shoots out as if the tank isn't venting any ideas ?

I had this problem once. Turns out some critter had made a small nest and packed the vent tube full of grasses and whatnot. If you get under the truck, you'll be able to pull the fuel line off of the metal vent tube barb near the filler neck. Check there, and clean as necessary.
