I am wanting to change my side windows from the slides to solids. Are the aluminum frames the same from the two set-ups. As in I could put solid glass in my slider frame or use tinted lexan.

I have sliders too and from looking at pics i think u just put the window into your rubber seal with no frame. Why dont u lie the sliders?

77k5blz is correct. Remove the metal frame from the rubber and stic the solid glas in its place. I would think about getting new "locking beads" if you are going to pull them apart.
Can't say I've heard of someone wanting to go to a solid from a slider

Well mine are leaking like crazy. I have found the outer rubber that the slider goes into, but I have not found the felt wipers for the sliders.
If you guys have a source for them thats great. I just have not seen them in the drawings in LMC, classic, or brothers..

You could probably just go by a glass shop. They might have something that would work. most have rolls of stuff they use on operating windows in houses.
You my have to glue it in though.
