today i was driving to the store, I parked and looked down at my passenger floor. and seen a Green Pool of coolant..
my heater core !...

well here in california its hot As a motha!. i really dont care about the heat.. but my question is.. Can I bypass The heater core. and still Keep my AC working
or will it somehow blow my truck up. ( never touched a heater core before)

just take the two hoses going to the heater core and connect them together?

Just making sure its not going to FUBAR the AC or the truck somehow..

i can care less about heat! I never use it. but the AC on other hand.... always

If your not worried about providing heat to a potential thief and getting sued in kali then... bypass it, quick fix. The actual fix would be to replace it.... I believe there is a thread in the tech section, pretty easy for our earlier chevy's.

Remove the hoses from the heater core and yes, tie them together with that adapter.

I usually used shorter pieces of hose when I did this, but that's up to you.
