I've got an 87 K5 that I need to sell. Its not a show winner but I've drove to work and around for the last year or so. This truck is on the line between fixer up or strip her down for a trail rig. I built this truck from spare parts I had lying around. It has an 87 fusebox and dash wiring, so with a firewall harness, fuel pump, ecm and tb it could once again be fuel injected. Its being sold as is, so those with mechanical skills are suggested, unless you can pay someone to fix the little stuff that needs attention.
Here is what its got:
350 engine (center bolt heads) from an 88 caprice-no fuel injection.
Newer quadrajet.
Oil cooler.
Th350 tranny with NP205 slip yoke.
Stock exhaust manifolds with glass packs turned down.
10 bolts with 308s.
Auto hubs
33" tires on aluminum rims.
New headliner.
Seat covers.
Body is in good shape.
Manual windows and locks.
31 gal gas tank.
Non tilt column.
No interm. wipers (wrong wiper motor)
Some extra parts:
rear drive shaft
front axle shafts
set of factory rallies with trim and center caps.
extra power tail gate.
What it needs:
I think the ps pump is going out.
Fenders and doors need to be aligned better.
A/C charged
Maybe front brake pads.
Carb adjusted.
Th350 kick down cable hooked up.
Could use shocks.
Needs to be painted all the same color.
Interior could use new carpet or cleaning and front seats are torn.
Door panels don't match interior.
