Eastbound and Down
I may or may not have went to look at this today

Body looks pretty clean and straight!
Thats hilarious, I was going to say I liked the color as a joke, and then you mentioned black cherry, which is the same color I ended up painting the regal. ha ha
HehehThanks Steve, the meats are DOT Hoosiers(28 x 11.5) only to drive it to the track, the small rear tires are the street tires, they Hoosiers did rub sometimes in the stock wheelwells around corners and stuff after I lowered it.
It was a 388 small block for 20 years, not anymore, big block sitting in it, but isn't running again yet. But I won't plug up beags thread with my stuff.
Just putting the pics in there for the color, although now I am wondering if beags secretly bought my old wheels from my father and painted them black, ha ha. I pulled off my wheels like that in '05 and last I knew there were sitting in the attic in my fathers barn.

Yeah, olds instead of Buick, ha haThey even both had the chrome along the bottom. Although I don't think mine ever had the vinyl top.
Heck I don't need the wheels anyway I thought it would be funny if they were the same set. He probably sold them at a swap meet by now I am assuming.
The bumpers and hood are Glasstek(good quality stuff), and I replaced the front and rear molding pieces between the lights and the bumpers with fiberglass as well, but I don't remember where they came from, they are seperate pieces on each side liek factory. The factory stuff was kind of warped and didn't look the best anymore, and the steel bumpers weighed a LOT. Although your bumpers seem to be molded into your body in that year with the wide newer lights.
I made aluminum bumper supports for the front, and the rear I made steel with a DOM cross bar since the fuel tank is right there.
I figured this would be your build thread, I tried to keep it relavant to stuff that might inspire you since you asked about the color.
maybe I can work with them for a custom lower front with dual turbo inlets....
