This is my brothers ramcharger. It's an 87, with an engine, trans and t-case from an 88. The 318 engine is throttle body injection. The truck has 145,000 miles, the eng/trans has between 60,000 and 80,000 miles, I dont remember exactly. The eng/trans is out of another ramcharger that belonged to a hospital, they used it for plowing and building maintenance, thats why the miles were low. Exhaust is brand new from manifolds back, new cat also. Interior is nice, except for a rip in the drivers seat. Tires are great. Runs and drives ok. Inspected until Sept 09.
The bad stuff: The taillights and dont always work. (brake and turn signals work) The wiring for the plow controls and the plow headlights has to be hooked up, it was disconnected when the engine was swapped. The steering is a little off, I think it needs to be aligned. It has a rust around the rear wheelwells. Its going to need rear drums.
I do not have the time for this truck, I have too many other unfinished projects.
