'87 Suburban Build "munepit" I'm Back! Missed all you guys!

No damage. Scratched the rocker on one side a bit. And the front driveline separated. Hooked it back in and went. Good times.

Jeff you need to bring that big ass burb or yours up here and go wheeling for a weekend with me. It will look worse than what it was after you rolled it except you would not even need to put it on its side!!!!!

You need to get a tube bender dude and starting going to town, cutting stuff off makin it light, and narrow it up a bit

I know I need a bender. I'm getting one for Christmas. I need to lose the doors. I carried one from the junk yard to my car and it had to be a quarter mile. It about killed me. I bet without the doors, I could save 400 lbs. then bob and cut the top off would be a bunch more weight. Then add a cage and I would be back to the same weight.

Nope you might gain the weight of 2 doors back. The tube we use remember is not really thick.

Horton has a ton of tube but weighs a lot less than when it was even just a cab truck

Jeff if you do finally go tube are you gonna still try to keep it on the street or go full trailer?
Firewall buggy similar to Horton wouldn't be too hard.

Jeff, I went to look at that truck about two weeks ago. A little rough for the $$$

Nice guy selling it for his kid as the kid went off to college before he built the truck.

A buddy emailed me some pictures from the day I flopped it. Damm, It looked good in these pictures. And now a month later, It looks like it got dropped off the top of a building.

I don't know if I'd call it stupid, but you're sure giving away a lot of capability by not having one.
