'87 Suburban Build "munepit" I'm Back! Missed all you guys!

Jeff, I went to look at that truck about two weeks ago. A little rough for the $$$

Nice guy selling it for his kid as the kid went off to college before he built the truck.

I know I've seen one where some one took a k5 top and grafted it into a burb so it had the removable top. Always thought that'd be sweet.

Thanks for embedding that bud!

Damm!! I just watched that last video a couple times. My front tires were high enough that I drug the reciever hitch. If you look closely, You can see it drag on the asphalt.

That was cooler than I thought! With the front bump off the cars you looked like you would of pulled a wheelie for a little bit!

Got a storm comming, and my wine shipment just arrived. So I made use of the box it came in.

Couldn't figure out how to install a window and broke the little white wheel that holds the window in. And I don't think you can buy a tiny wheel so I need a whole regulator. Is there an easy way to put in these windows?

Can't see crap when driving like this!

I think the regulators come with those and that is the only way you can get them.

Just get a new door :waytogo: well a used one.

Both great ideas. Tom gave me a window, so I was trying to use that. If I get a new door, the dents won't line up! I could work on that. I have spent at least an hour and a half trying to get the window in. Felt dumb and started doing something else. I will just hit the fun yard and get a regulator.

Thanks!

Is there an easy way to put in these windows?

No, it's fiddly and annoying and involves getting WD40 on every surface, your fingers, and in your nose, and exercising your entire vocabulary of swearing. :haha:

Been there, done that.

tube doors...

The Tube door idea is a GREAT one!!
They would look sweet on your beast too, and no worries about damage spots matching. lol.:D
From what I've seen of your ride and adventures, you may want extra bars in those tube doors!

I would love tube doors! Too cold during the winder though. Might have call Kert @ Diy4x and have him send me 4.

I kind of like the look without the doors.

It's going to rain next week so I paid $60.00 for this door. No discount for the 2bullet holes under the window. Just need to align and paint it.
