'87 Suburban Build "munepit" I'm Back! Missed all you guys!

That explains your relaxed pose with your truck on its side...
After being a racer, not much slow speed action will faze you. Lol

Congrats Jeff!
Calendar and a magazine shot!!!!
Wow that's really awsome!

NO2 ??? You have already spent time on your side, (great pic) more power and you could end up on your lid.

You should see the roof, it's pretty smashed as is the hood. I did a complete roll a few months ago.

You going to be at KOH again this year Jeff?

Hell yes I will be there this year!! I will be pitting for the same team again. Might take the Burb too if I have enough time to get it ready! Then I will show you how to make it up Choc. Thunder:haha:

Ha! Every time I drive it I break something. I need to learn how to wheel without breaking something. But that's no fun. I like to tear chit up and make people say " Holy fock, did you se that" which is pretty much what happens every time I take it out. I don't know to go easy.

Isn't that the only way to wheel when a crowd is present. When I was announcing our offroad events. The best way to get the crowd going was to get an aggressive driver on course. The best way to get a driver to be aggressive was to pump the crowd. It works pretty good when your crowd is only ten feet from the course.

Well, small update. I doing a photo shoot for the cover of a magazine in one hour from now. There will be three guys filming and taking pictures and there will be three GoPros mounted somewhere. It's on! I'm primed up and ready to tear **** up. I don't know how long until I get the pics and videos, but they will be good ones. Giddy up!

So, how crush resistant are GoPros?

:D just curious :D

Good luck :waytogo: I have no doubt it will be entertaining  :woot: (and potentially painful for the burb :D)

Well. The photo shoot went well. I went to an abandon golf course and was jumping out of 10-12 foot sand bunkers. I tore it up. Catching huge air. So much air that I bent the frame. I don't know what I'm going to do now but I'm thinking about stripping the running gear and putting it in something a wee bit smaller.

I will be getting all the GoPro footage and all the pictures that were takin. I am told this will be in a 4 Wheel Parts advertisement also.

Here are some carnage pics of the aftermath.

Fix the frame the fully box it and tie a cage into that huge biotch and rock out

Jeff, I saw on CL today a sub for sale in red perfect body for $1250.00

Wont help the frame but it will be a start.

How did the new windshield hold up?

Windshield is good! Tom, I went big today! I can't wait to see the pics. A security guard showed up and was trying to kick us off the property. I said you wanna ride? He said sure. He was scared when it was over. He was shaking. He said we are welcome anytime!

Hmmmm, doesnt look horrible?? ...the frame is wasted. They bend when they are not jumped

If its hammered that bad where we can see it in photos, its prob 10x worse in person

Not worth fixing and boxing IMO unless you want to keep it. But its an excuse to cage it and go all out

Jeff your a nut. Cant wait to see vids

Screw it. Buy that clean body, find a replacement frame and box it.

But at that point are you really even still building the "same" vehicle? Maybe something better suited would be better.

Oh fix the burb for street and maybe more mild stuff and build a buggy or a k5 for the abuse

Nooooo!!!!!

"I'm thinking about stripping the running gear and putting it in something a wee bit smaller.":haha:

Please tell me that's just a joke..??
Everything is fixable.....:dunno:

Looking forward to seeing whatever footage you have buddy!!!
It would be a shame if this is the last we see of the big red Burb!

Now we are talking!!

That is great Jeff!!!
Would expect no less, based on the information you shared about what you were doing for the shoot.

This Pic is now the cover on my favorite CK5 rigs folder....:bow::bow:

Hope it's not the end of this Burb!
