'87 350 (250HP GM crate engine with Edlebrock Intake). Broke the motor in with a carb that I had knowing I might have issues with the TBI. No issues with vacum leaks or any issues like that.

Mount the TBI and all controls less the EGR. When it is running I have no engine light on. Starts fine, but after a minute or two once it begins to warm up it idles down and quits.

Ideas?

edit, it is not running rich when it shuts down and I do have a brand new O2 sensor.

Ended up working late tonight. Will dig in tomorrow.

Still haven't been home to look at it. The TBI did ran in a different motor that I had in this truck maybe 2 months ago. I shouldn't need to adjust for the idle with that, should I?

What are you using for a temp sending unit and gauges? I had this same issue on my moms 34 Chevy. Sending unit for the computer was being back fed by he aftermarket gauge. As it warmed up. It would quit. Took six hours to figure it out. Seperate sending unit for the gauge fixed it.

Or might be something completely different.

All new factory sensors and factory gauges.

ok, went to check codes tonight. Before I did I wanted to see what was going on. Started the truck and the injector on the driver's side was dribbling fuel out opposed to a spray. Other side had excellent pattern. Swapped wires, same thing. Swapped injectors, same thing. Went and completely cleaned it to a sparkling level with a sonic cleaner, all new gaskets and such. Same issue. Exactly the same.

What now? Dribble is maybe pressure, but would the other side be excellent?

OK, you found something, but the first step is always check for codes.

The injector is bad or clogged, there is no way to clean or fix it without injector service. If you don't have a place local Mr Injector does excellent work!

It can't be a clogged injector itself. I swapped injectors and had the same issue on the same side. I swapped wires and had the same issue.

Sorry I missed that... that is strange? There are fuel passage ways from the regulator to injectors... hmmm never seen that happen?

No problem and I agree. I am confused.
Gasket material failing and pluging the port to that side.
Same issue before touching it, after sonic cleaned, and nylon brushed ports.
