For those with TBI, does your vapor canister connect directly to the TBI or is there an inline purge valve (vacuum or electronic)?

Thanks!

Nope, goes from the front of the throttle body directly to the canister.

You might want to go look at the '85 or '86 TPI wiring diagrams over at thirdgen.org just to confirm, (that it's listed as EVAP purge) but on the wiring manual I linked to in your other thread, I see no cannister purge pin on the ECM. I may have missed it, as that seems odd, but who knows.

I know my '88 TPI has a cannister purge connector.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing (that the ECM doesn't have a pin out for it). But I also found these vacuum purge valves too, and am wondering if they are on any TBI setups....

No purge valve on any of the TBI trucks I have owned; The vacuum line goes directly from the canister to a ported vacuum port on the throttle body. Using ported vacuum is how they got around the purge valve.

Fuel vent line goes directly from the tank to the canister. No valves or anything to my knowledge.
