they sit a little further back in the cab and are more straight. "supposedly" a cleaner shift or shorter shift or something like that.
I just happened to score a good aluminum top from the junk yard but it's missing the shifter. The shifters also don't cross over between the two different tops

Yessir good info. I was scanning through that thread just a few nights ago
How "good" does it need to be? I had found a brand new shifter years ago for my setup, I still have the original stick with the usual wear on it.

Heck as long as it isn’t bent or have anything stripped out on it it’ll probably be good enough.
