Has anybody seen or done a 88-92 Chevy dash in a square??
I have seen the 2001ish and up dash
I have looked high and low but not seen this done.
Will it even work?
If you have seen or done one please post pics put them on here.
Going to a salvage yard soon to do some measurements for another project I have.

Thanks!

I haven't done it or have pictures, but that picture looks exactly like the interior of the '92 Suburban I use to own.

I'm interested in seeing if it will do it
Going to take measurements of one in a truck tomorrow

We shall see

I found a late 70's K10 on CL a while back that had a 95-98 dash in it. I'll see if I can find the picture.

I'm sure it can be done, the real ? is how much time, effort, and $$ are you prepared to spend on doing it...

I would love to see it, it sounds like an interesting project. That dash above is beautiful.

I can get the dash for $100 at a salvage yard that I go to. Effort is the real question.
I did some measurements today and it measurement wise will fit
But the fine details we will have to see

just to be clear its a 88-94 style and 95-end of body run . those were the splits .

and I would much rather see this style in our trucks over the 95-up round stuff .

Yeah I know it's 94 for the split
I have owned enough of them 88,92,94,99
Thanks!

So I did some measurements today with some help and it looks like it will fit
Might have a little creative trimming to do
Might try to pick a decent one up in the next week or two and see

Went to several yards and still looking for a good one that is not broken
Will update when I find one

I feel like any dash made after the square body just rattles itself apart with any offroading. I love my blazer dash (DIY4x) on washboard roads. My buddy's OJ bronco, OMG its gunna fall apart before we get to the end. Same for my Dad's '94 Z71.
