88-98 crew cab. On 79 reg cab lwb k30 frame

After wheeling this weekend I decided a cage may remove some inhibitions I have. Since a cage for my reg cab seems like a waste I wondered about a 88-98 since they have more rear seat room. Anyone try this yet?
