Ive been trying to find specs via google and cant find anything. Im looking at a 97 chevy crew cab long box. Just for the hell of it I want to compare the wheel base of the crew cab long box and short box. The crew cab long boxes never got my attention, but i found one super clean and fully loaded for a decent price im gonna go look at later this week. thanks for any help

should be same as old basicly 165" nd turn on a 5 acre lot. :haha:

i had a 96 2wd crew long bed for a few years. loved the ride.

haha yeah I know the turning radius aint the tightest but I can get use to it. This one has suspension lift with 285s so it looks a little more height to length proportionate.

Didn't the crew cabs stay with the square body style til 91 like the blazers and burbs. If not just wanted to bring it up cuz I'm.curious. maybe someone knows

Yep, they sure did.

Moreover, a four-door cab in the then-new body style didn't occur for a few years; an extended cab, yes, but not a crew.

I'd guess 95-96ish, but can't immediately back that up.

None of which is relevant to the OP, save that my Brochures stuff doesn't get new enough to help. Doh.

I wanted one of those years to build up, but couldn't find any within reason. I really liked the 89 GMC that I SAS'd, my old 97, my dad's old 98. They have more creature comforts than the older trucks, like friggin' cup holders!!!!!!

Yes.And IRC they had a WB of 154".But I haven't had one in a few yrs now.Don't know about the newer ones.

IMO '92-'94 the dashes were F-ed up. Just say'n.

Yes they were crappy, the 95+ were way better bit they bust along the windshield.

I too want a 95-98 crew car for my collection, maybe dually or SRW. They ate pretty hard to find for a decent price cuz a lot of them were used for work trucks
