I have a 1988 k5 that I am swapping in one ton drivetrain .I also have a 1989 c-1500 2wd pickup that needs new wheels .Can I use the 6 lug axleshafts from my k5 10 bolt and swap them into the pickup 10 bolt so I can reuse my 6 lug wheels?? And how could I turn the front into 6 lug?? Thanks Also the pick up has a g80 in it and the k5 is a one legger.. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crewcab.gif

Yup, the shaft lengths changed with the body style. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Easy to go 6-lug on the pickup though. Get a rear end and rotors from a light-duty C2500. Probably not worth doing just for a set of wheels... unless the rear end is on its way out, and it needs a brake job /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
