Where is the weak spots on my 88 burb? I'm putting a 6.5 td in it. I will use it to tow a little a just have fun playin in it. I know the 6.5 doesn't make a whole lot of power but the fuel mileage and a little more torque is worth the swap. Just don't want to trash a frame over it. It will have a crew cab and a home made flat bed on it. Thanks ahead for your input.

I'm not sure exactly where the weak spots are, but the military cucv trucks have some extra braces that bolt into the frame right below the firewall to "box" the frame for about 10-12" and there used to be a factory piece available that bolted in front of the passenger motor mount to prevent frame crackage. I've got all of them along with extra cross members and a steering box brace set-up on my '76 Jimmy to prevent/reduce flexing should I get the wild hair to .........
