Ok, so i have pulled the heater core housing to be able to replace the heater core itself and once i pulled it out and gave it a better look, there are a few things messed up on it from rusting over time and dry rot plastic parts breaking. I have looked all over to find a new one or a remanufactured one but cant. Can anybody shed some light on this subject on where i might be able to get this thing re manned or buy a new one with all the insides put together such as the flappers and such for the A/C / Heated models.

The evaporator core / blower motor housing was all cracked up after i pulled it apart and out of the engine bay. I was wondering if there is anywhere that you can still find this product. Ive also looked around and have yet to find any companies to sell this.

Please any proffesional insight on this subject will be greatly appreciated. I currently have this thing tore down, dash out, ductwork out, inner fender on passenger side out, lol i have this thing torn down and parts everywhere!!!! 26 year old vehicle needs new plastic stuff eventually, nothing lasts forever....i hope companies still realize this and offer these two products.

i have already looked in the magazine. i check it out religiously and it does not offer the actual housings themselves. that was the first place i looked.

You will need to get that part out of a used truck. Put it in "parts wanted" section. They are common enough and someone has one. You can go to a bone yard but they are a PITA to remove with the inner fenders, hood, etc. in place.
