88 HEI Distributor Cap Thread size?

I have a distributor cap thread that has stripped and want to try chasing it first. Can someone verify if its 7/32

The distributor cap attaches to the housing with threaded screws/bolts. What size are the screws or housing holes ?

Not on any GM HEI I know of.
It's it's the tbi dizzy then yeah that might be threaded.
I dont know the size though.

Sorry, used the wrong terminology.
The bolt thread size for the external coil mounted distributor cap.
I did find one possible reference on inet search but wanted to verify before buying tap. Ill just pull the cap and match up the threads.

When I googled it I found a few places that said the 7/32. Pretty sure you were right.
