hate to do it, but i need the cash, so the truck might have to go. ive had it 5 years, and in that time have gone through almost everything. If you finish (basically install) the parts i havent installed, you'll have an extremely capable rig. heres info:

'88 K5 125k miles black/red 2-tone with porno red interior and P/W, P/L (temper mental), A/C. all carpet has been ripped out and everything has been herculined. its also got a '91 front end on it. its also got a Blazen Offroad Tube winch front bumper.

currently 350TBI/700r4/208. I just did a tune up on it and it doesnt miss a beat. i just changed the tranny filter and put on a new tranny cooler.

chevy d60 (originally SRW)
-4.10's welded, non-neckdown shafts
-NWF reverse hi-steer
-Complete PSC hydro-assist setup with box, upgraded pump, cooler and 1.75" ram
-Completely rebuilt and painted DRW hubs and wheel studs
-New brake calipers and rotors and stainless steel brake lines

chevy d70HD (out of dually)
-4.10's open
-Disc conversion with caddy calipers (have levers, just not hooked up)
-Rebuilt SRW 14b hubs and wheel studs to match WMS of DRW 60.

Front Suspension ~7" lift
-B52 kit with rear hangers and 7.25" shackles
-New 4" lifted Tuff Country 52's with a leaf and overload removed
-custom made shock towers to run 15" travel shocks on inner C's of d60

Rear suspension ~7" lift
-Home made shackle flip with lowering shackles and stock 64's and a couple extra leafs and a zero-rate in the center location. front mount was moved forward to keep the rear tires in the wheel well. 14" travel fox shocks.

wheels/tires
-sandblasted, primered, and painted stock 12 bolt H1's with new nuts and o-rings
-42"x14"x16.5" Iroks with 300 miles on them
-also have a 5th 12b h1 rim thats been sandblasted and painted as well

Not installed in the truck:
I've got a 203/205 triple stick doubler with a 4 different ranges: 1:1, 2:1, 3.1:1 and 6.2:1.

-WMS 203 3.1:1 range box, is NEW with 0 miles on it. 32 spline
-NWF doubler adapter
-NWF completely built twin-stick 205, billet 32spine outputs front and rear, billet pto covers
-NWF triple stick shifters and knobs
-triple stick boot

-NEW HAD 1350 CV rear driveshaft with 1410 at axle (shaft will need to be shortened if used with the doubler, or just move the axle back more).

ive got a 400/203 adapter for it as well as a couple stock cross members that could be made to work for it. just need a th400 (i should be able to find one, if you need one). ive also got all the parts (minus tube) to make a square front drive shaft using 1480 D60 joints, and a flange on the d60 instead of a yoke (similar to toyota but bigger).

minor issues:
-needs Inserts to use the beadlocks, ive got a set of mag's but they wont work with the 42" irok because of the huge bead, so you'll need a set of PVC ones.
-parking brake isnt hooked up. levers are on the calipers, just need to run the cable (or dont worry about it).
-defrost/heat just stop working, but i should be able to fix that, im pretty sure its just the relay.
-power door locks work occasionally, and the windows are starting to go up slow (need new motors)

im sure im forgetting some stuff, but thats a good start. ive got more money into this than i want to think about. weld the D70, throw in a th400 with the doubler, shorten the rear shaft and weld up the front shaft and you've got a rig thats ready for almost anything.

I'm not really sure what its worth, and i know the economy sucks. lets start it off at $9,000 obo for everything (the truck, doubler, HAD shaft, and all parts for the doubler swap and front driveshaft, and all other parts ive got for it) and go from there. that doesnt even come close to how much ive got in the truck. i know $9k is alot of $$$, but i could easily part it out and get more than that, i just dont have the time to do that.

if you dont want the doubler or the other parts that arent installed we can work something out. I'll consider trades + or - cash for an LS1 car, must be 6spd. truck is located in Northern Virginia, just outside D.C.

here are some pics of the truck, ill look to see if ive got any of the doubler and other parts. im away from the truck, but could get my family or neighbors to snap some more pics of everything if interested.

Damn sorry to hear man. Interested in selling doubler alone?

Either way hope things work out.

That blazer has always been one of my favorites. I like what you've done with it so far. Good luck with the sale and a bump for ya.

I'm available to help/assist with delivery around the East, possibly. If needed, and it'll help with a sale, ask.

thanks chris, 'preciate it.

im asking $7000 for the truck w/o the doubler and HAD shaft.

here is just a quick list of stuff on the truck and the money ive got into them,

- 42" iroks brand new ~$1600
- 5 12b H1's sandblasted and painted ~$500
- D60/D70HD w/ rebuilt hubs and all new seals/bearings and new disc conversion with caddy calipers ~$2,000
- Complete PSC hydro-assist setup with all upgrades ~$1,000
- Complete NWF Reverse Hi-steer setup ~$900
- Blazen Offroad Bumper ~$450

that alone is basically to my asking price, and that doesnt include the complete B52 setup, new lifted 52" Tuff Country springs up front, and all the other stuff, including the truck itself:eek1: so you basically get a free truck with all those parts, and its not like this is a complete rust bucket either. price seems more than fair to me, but maybe im just crazy. geez maybe i should just part it out:crazy::doah: too bad i dont have the time or i would.

What did you do toget the H1's to fit? In my opinion you can't buy a better looking wheel for a 4x4. Good ****, good luck finding it a new home.

nice k5

too bad I am so far away. Still thinking about it though, I like the build, very similar for what i envision for mine. I would just buy it for the collection of parts though, gotta swap to my 74 b/c of full conv and avoiding california smog. I'm checking on some shipping qoutes.

hey guys sorry, just finished finals and that along with work had been keeping away from the computer.

RGV72BLAZER - i sent you a pm bout the driveshafts

Muddermilitia - the complete doubler is pending, if things change ill let you know, boz42 has first dibs if it falls through.

any questions just let me know, thanks.

final bump, then ill just keep it, get a soft top and try to enjoy it til the market gets better:rolleyes:
