88 k5 question

So the three I have been kicking around we’re that one in PDX but people seemed to tell me to avoid that one so I haven’t emailed him or anything.

The second one was.

And the third was.

I was needing more of a stock blazer like the first due to my wife having lupus and having trouble getting in and out of vehicles.
But it’s hard to tell how high they are without seeing them in person.

Thank you guys for the help so far.

They are all overpriced but I feel the last one offers more for the money.
Not good for you with the lift and 35s

The last two have a lift and bigger tires. And are overpriced in my opinion. Out of the three I like option 2 best. Looks to be in best shape. I like the th350 just for simplicity in the third, but At least the 700r4 seems to have gotten the recommended work to it to keep it alive longer in the blazer. Mine and how far they’ll come down, That’s going to be the hard selling point. But if you want more of a stock one keep looking. It depends on what kind of work you are willing to put into the truck if you buy a cheaper one that needs a bit more work. Or if you want a turnkey beautiful truck you are going to pay a mint for.

Yes that is a nice one, but unfortunately to far to travel for me. Thank you for looking though.

Yeah I’m looking for an efi one since I don’t know much about carbs I grew up in a fuel injected era.
I did rebuild a qudrapuke though.

You're not looking for an '08 F-150 or something that's on every corner. 1 day of travel is practically no time at all compared to addressing even some minor issues. The cleaner of a truck you start with, the more time you have to enjoy it. Rust repair takes tons of time and/or money. And a plane ticket to save $2k on a truck is also a no brainer. Look on Google flights and find tickets for <$100.

Use the CK5 network and convince somebody here to look at something you're serious about.

Yes I understand there not like a common truck anymore. It’s just I can’t travel that far. It does look nice and I am appreciative of him looking for one for me.

1988 should be a serpentine belt setup, not v belt combo. Alternator and Ac changed sides. Grill is correct for 1985 to 1988.

87' and 88' still had separate belts (but both TBI). 89' - 91' brought on the single, serpentine belt and front grill/side molding change.

If you find something out in my area, let me know, I don't mind snooping around for other people (who are very serious about purchasing) :D
