Here is the day I picked her up.
I bought it knowing I was going to do a axle swap on it. It had 10 bolts with 37s under it. They rear end was some what built. Had a lock, shafts angears. The front I still haven't opened up... I picked up a parts Burb for the axles. Started on the swap.
It was only a 8 lug 10b an SF14. Both are open and I don't plan on building them. Just ganna save up and build up a 44/FF14. After I finished the axle swap I started working on the motor witch I'm still having trouble with... I started to do little things to pass the time while I waiting on parts or money.
I put new headliner in cuz the old was crap.
The ladies love this! I also pealed the lame gauge cover off an put some wood grain on it. Ladies love this to. Ha
Painted my headlight bezzel. I think they came out good.
I want to paint my grill to keep the tan an the bowtie the stock color tho. I cut the fenders up. I did a little much but oh well. I like it an that's all I care about.
That was the first side and I didn't know the firewall was that close... I just JB welded it for the time being tell I can weld it up.
The second cut it always better...
I like how it turned out. I had to make a little tent to finish the side cuz it started raining on me.
Found a roll bar out at the good ol Pick an Pull.
It's just a bolt in but it's better then nothing an I only spent 20 bucks on it!
The lot next to my house floods quite a bit... My buddy in his K5 thought he was good untell he fell in a ditch. He didn't have a front drive shaft at the time cuz of his exhaust routing from the previous owner. He fixed all that up not. That's the day I got my new tires an wheels on to. 36/14.5/16 Iroks. So far I like them. Haven't really done any real wheeling so I can't really say just yet.
