no start, spark ok, with turn over spraying quickstart/carb cleaner.

looking up wireing to pump now, will the thrtlebody chater when empty of fuel?

drove home last night no prob, this morning no start.

Noisy injectors is a new one to me, but check to see if you've got injector pulses while you are trying to start it.

If you prime the fuel yourself, it should at least fire, but not stay running if the fuel pump is out.

the battery is a little low from test cranking, but by no means very low.

it at first was not making any nosie then after a test crank and 5 or so min riggin up a remote switch to crank from the engen compartment, it started clicking, not the injectors them selves, but it sounds like it is comeing from the back of the tbi, what ever the rased section is behind the actual intake holes.

i unpluged the injector and it still made the nosie, so mostt likely a fuel pump then?

CRAp i just filled it i got a good 30 or 40 gal in there i dont want to have to drop the tank!!!

Before you drop the tank, apply 12v to the test wire on the fuel pump relay. The relay should be on the pass side firewall. The test wire is a wire that hangs from it with a connector thats nnot connected. A straight wire from the positive side of the battery should do it.

It bypasses the fuel pump relay to provide direct power to the pump. The pump should whine with power on this wire. If no whine, then the pump is dead. If the pump works, check out the relay, or signal from the computer to the relay.

no i just dont go dropping tanks with 30 gal of fuel in them befor checking things out.

it has been pouring here (read downpour)

so i couldent hear a fuel pump even if it was working, if the rain lets up ill get back in her tomorrow, i am farly confidant it is the pump, with no fuel at the injectors at all it must be.

oh and since my floor is rusty anyway i am just going to cut a hole in the floor to get at it screw dropping the tank.

now should i use my gas fired quick cut with a 20" blade or a sawz all?????

:dunno:

:D

you may just have to siphen the fuel out into cannisters. Don't forget to replace the filter.
