89s look better but it sounds like i'd go with the 88
I think the nonrusted 88 sounds better since it would probibly get scrached and dented anyways.
Once the rust gets started, especially in your part of the country, it's almost impossible to stop. I'd go with the '88 too. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
All of the drivetrain and a lot of the body (front clip and doors) will interchange between the two. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

A RUST-FREE VEHICLE IN NEW YORK!!! I've never seen one of those. Being originally from upstate NY and tranported all over the world via military orders, that sounds like quite a catch in itself!!!

id go with the rustfree,i mean its gotta be the only rustfree burban on the east coast.
i cant imagine trying to park a suburban in NYC though.
i can tell you honestly though once even a little rust gets started it gets into the worst places.and is a serious pain to deal with.
besides if you really like the look of the 89 you can always swap the clip and barndoors eventually.

checked it out pretty good and only saw dents and knicks no rust. paint job is faded and wheel stink but other than that pretty good. how much would you offer. oh and parking isn't as bad as you may think only in manhatten is it a problem,and it won't be my primary vehicle. oh yeah and the interior needs work.
