So it is a 88 Suburban 3/4 ton. It has sat for at least 10 years. I got it from @blazinzuk he knows less about it then I do but.......
The front windows do not go down, not sure of the reason. Passenger side door panel is off and laying in the seat. Big huge tow mirrors are in the back seat. Interior is not all that bad. The rear three windows work fine.
headlights, turn signals all work
trans works
TBI 350 runs, it has a noise, deeper then a rod knock no idea what it is.
I put a battery in it and it started and it ran I was shocked. I have put a bottle of Lucas in it as well as new battery terminal ends.
Rust does not seem to be all that bad the only visible spot is the drivers side rear quarter.

I would like $700 for it, or trade for same condition Blazer, it is for the kid, she want a Blazer but we got this to get running and sell.
So it runs.

Because I’m a glutton for punishment, can you get a couple pics of the underside? I’m thinking 1,400 miles isn’t that far.......

I’ll message you here in a bit. Gotta check funding and co-pilot status

Well that ought to be a nice drive

I wish the engine was healthy. Then I would fly and drive, I had thought of driving my 92 out then switching the engine in a hotel parking lot roadkill style but then I’m greedy and want the NV4500 and 14 bolt out of the 92 as well. So that doesn’t work handy

I would drive it.
I did worse.
I also drove one just like that had a knock and that was 7 years ago still driving it as is.
It's my daily driver.
I am preparing a 454 bbc for it now that I have a few cars that run reliably.

I’m a chicken, and it’ll be a winter time trip since we’re into harvest now. And due to family medical issues I may be solo for harvest for a couple weeks

Bring it to my house its only a few miles from the pickup location, swap the engine, Pull the rear end and trans. Leave the old engine and shell of the 92 with me as payment. you get what you want and I get scrap haha

We will definitely be in touch, that's one heck of an offer!

Swap the whole drivetrain, problem solved.

That’s too much work to be fast. I don’t mind using the tired 350 I’ve got since it’s just gonna come home and be removed for a 5.3 anyways

I'm not too far from Keith either.

We could make him bring it back! Lol

You guys are lucky! Nearest CK5 member to me is like 4 hours lol
