88 toyota pickup, taillights and license plate light dont work,

what could be wrong ? what to check on toyota pickups ? i know zero about them

you check the fuses and the bulbs themselves?

Check the wiring harness on the drivers side, right under the tailight. Also check the fuse, and make sure the plate lights are grounded.

problme was the yellow connector on top of pass side rocker under the carpet under end of the bench seat there

ti was corroded pins and dirty, had to spray it and mess with it,

all is good nowo,

but fuel guage it doesnt work its below empty all the time never moves, never has no matter how much fuel is in it, ive filled it to overfull spilling out and it doesnt even glitch at all

dead, i tried the plugs after pulling bed off and everything,

the float arm is moving around in there you can hear it bobbing around if you shake the truck at night when its really quiet out

so float is fine and arm, too

im lost,.,
