89 1 ton cnevy-FREE- is it worth it with the bad drive tranes the had

it's in romulus. i was supposed to go look at it sat, but we took a delivery for him that morning(he's a roofer). so he told the driver he couldn't make , so probably one night this week or this weekend.i was going to drive by there sat after work, but when i came home friday i found my dog i've had 9 years dead on the chair.i pretty much cried all night so i was strung out the next day and just wanted to go to bed.he was the coolest rott in the world and my best friend. anyway i hope i get the truck soon,i'll take it to my dads he has 10 acres and a heated garage. my wife will kill me if i keep changing my truck,i told her the next project would be her ride /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif so i'll have to leave it at pappies for a week or two, thanks for all the advice peeps, like i said i only heard bad stuff about that year truck but you guys know the real deal /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

hey calclips does he still have it?i finally went to the dudes house with the 89 and it was a 1/2 ton with one ton springs.alot of people in the construction bizz used to do that (some still do).they think the springs are all its about, they don't realize that the brakes and such can't handle the weight. anyway i'm glad i didn't take my dads dump truck and trailer over to get it,pop's would have been pissed.at least i didn't drive far , only 3 miles. i should have known it was to good to be true, i always pay more than things are worth. i could win a million dollars and on the way to get the check i'd cause a wreck and get sued for 3 million /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
