89 350tbi fuel problem? Hesitation,power loss

Your fuel pressure should be between 9-13 psi. I have the exact same issues you have and my pump pressure check out at around 7 or 8 psi. It runs, but it surges at idle, (high...low...high...low...) and it's really weak on power with a code 44.
