Just looking to confirm I have the cooler line intakes/outputs correct on my '89 6.2 suburban. It has been a few years since this thing was together.

Driver side has three smaller hookups. I know the tranny cooler lines go to 2 of them, what is the third for? The top one currently has a short (2-3") piece of hard line in it?

Passenger side, top nipple is for heater core. Then I have two large sized cooler ports. Would those be oil cooler? Can I just plug those? The other thing with the pointy end is some type of gauge hookup?

I will not be running AC for now and purchased an after market oil cooler.

My Suburban has two coolers that go/went in front of the radiator. The long skinny one I believe is AC, the other looks very similar to the oil cooler I bought.

Just trying to get this thing back together!

The oil cooler ports are on the passenger side of the radiator--pointy looking sensor is for a coolant level sensor I think--tranny cooler ports are on the drivers side of the radiator..my two trucks only have the two tranny cooler ports on the drivers side (as far as I remember),if yours had another, it may have been for some other sensor or something)..

You can plug the oil cooler ports in the radiator,if you wish,if your using a remotely mounted oil cooler --if your "deleting" it entirely, you'll need to make a bypass loop to join the two ports in the block above the oil filter to avoid starving the bearings of oil pressure (I used 3/8" copper on one of my 6.2's to make one with 2 fittings with 3.8" npt male threads and 3/8" compression fitting on the other end)..

The other cooler in front of the A/C condensor is probably a tranny cooler..or possibly a P/S cooler...
