seen aftermarket turn signals and grill like these before on rigs around town but haven't been able to find them online. Also does anyone make aftermarket headlights in this small size? I had some Silverstars in my 85 and haven't been able to find anything for my 89 burb.

LMC truck....but by the picture is hard to tell. Grille looks like a billett insert.

I agree... LMC has all those parts. www.lmctruck.com

I just recently got new turn signal/parking light housings and they look like the ones pictured. They look great, and couldn't be more happy with them. I've had good experiences with LMC.

The grill uses an aluminum insert that you install in the old factory grill. The website says you have to cut out the old gray plastic bits (think dremel) and install the inserts in that. If your old grill is hashed, LMC sells Repro, and OEM versions. OEM being more expensive, of course.

good luck finding any better than stock 4703s and 4701s. ive looked...slyvania doesn't offer any.

thats what I was told :(

I've only gottan LMC truck for 73-87 pickup. never new they offered a catalog for suburbans, gonna have to get one. Thanks for the info.

LMC sells some non-fluted lights. I've never tried them...but they look cool.

Someone here changed te light assembly out to a solid one like the regular c/k series from those years. I never saw a pic of it. I think they were cavalier lights or something like that.

If anyone has pics of that I would really like to see the install!

Caprice. I have a friend that used late '80s caprice headlights in his. He also did them in a '76 to make it look like a later model c/k w/the old style body, it was pretty cool. I'll see if he has some pics.

Yeah, those are the euro lights I was thinking of.

If I remember correctly, he went with caprice lights because the nose on the c/k was slightly rounded and he couldn't align them without have the high-beam side sticking way out. The caprice nose is fairly flat.

Just givin you an idea of what the lights look like. I think they were larger and he had to trim the grille. I left him a message for a pic.

That is very similar to what the guy I know did. I never liked it becasue the lights were bigger than the blinkers...but I guess it's cool because it's custom. Maybe he did use cavalier lights and i was confused with Caprice? Not sure, I'll will find out when he calls me back.

The setup he did in the older truck looked way better. He actually made the entire grille out of steel grating. Not only bulletproof but it had a cool rat rad look to it.

I'm pretty sure he sold both trucks on ebay...in which case somebody here might have a pic.

Tabb85K5, I looked on LMC and they have those billet grill for 89-91 chevy and GMCs
