Hi i took my tcase out today my ? is i took it off with the adapter left on the tc i s this the way its done or do you leave it hooked to the tranny? Thanks Larry

Larry, although this post is barely comprehensible... I will attempt to answer your question. You are asking if taking the transfer case off with the adapter is the "right way". It does not really matter, if you told us WHY you were pulling the t-case, then maybe we could enlighten you. But if you are just pulling it off because you have nothing better to do, then I would have to say you went about it the right way:-)

tcase

No im 60 yrs old i let my son use it and he busted the t case in half .i would of been having a cup o coffee but i had to try it .Thanks for your reply

Either way will work but if you leave the adapter bolted to the trans then you don't need to find a way to support the engine/trans as the t-case mount is on the adapter and would still be bolted to the crossmember supporting the engine/trans.
