I have an 89 chevy k series 1/2 ton gasser and my front drive shaft is fricked and I am looking for a replacement.

My question is are there any differences to a mid 80's pickup or are they all the same. If not what ones will fit?

Thanks and all you guys are a great source of info keep up the good work.

Thunder.

you have a np208 t-case, not the np241 you will be able to find many shafts to fit, but try to find the ones with the coarse- splined slip and stub. the fine spline will usually spin under high load

89 blazers have 241 t-case. you can use a driveshaft from a truck with a 208 or 241, both use the same driveshafts.
