OK, here is my situation:

89 Burb 1500 4x4, 2" RC spring lift, 14b FF.

The RC springs are not cutting it for towing a 6700 lb TT (with a weight distro hitch). Want to add Hellwig springs. However, Hellwig is saying that their springs should NOT be installed on Burbs with rear A/C.

Question: Anyone added the Hellwig with rear A/C? The lines run right under the inner fender over the spring packs but it looks like with my 2" lift that they should clear the lines without a problem. I cannot see a situation where the pack would compress enough to contact the lines. Seems like I could just extend the bumpstops so that contact would not occur.

Suggestions?

P.S. Looked at adding "supersprings" but those things are $350 with the mount kit where the Hellwig setup is only costing me 190.

Also, need to do this in the next two days so install and locate time is critical. I already have the Hellwig setup lined up.

Thanks for any info.
