If you have a specific question I'm sure someone here would have a specific answer. So far, I can confirm the 700R-4 was an available transmission for that year...

when driving normal trans will shift normal until u get to overdrive then it spins if u start in 3rd gear and get up to hwy speed and then put it in overdrive its fine until u go to pass and step on the throttle then nothing the motor just revs up until u let off the throttle then it will be fine
