I see a thread about the Glove lock now how do you remove the console lock ?

You have to get the 1st tab on the key cylinder pushed in, then it will come apart. Put the key in, this will depress the others, then look on the latch side for a little grove that the tab is in, use a hock tool to depress it. It's a little tricky but they do come apart.
It's the same as the glove box, just harder to get to that little hole on the console lid.
What if you don't have a key . I want to swap locks so it matches my original lock ?
Pop the chrome top off, than you can take some pilers and pull the key cylinder out. It wll break the tabs but it will come out. This is how I got mine out. it takes some force but it will come out.
