Barney has the single headlight front end, I want the double, I found this guy advertising an 89 core support with wiring and trim for $200, if it's in good shape as it appears to be in the ad is this a fair price or should I expect to get it for less? He also has a rear bumper off of a Sub, best I can tell these will fit the blazers am I correct? If anyone is near the heart of Texas he has several square bodies 3 subs and one C10 that he's parting out and if you need me to see what he has post up, I'm going out there tomorrow hopefully.

I say that's a fair deal...if you get the headlight harness uncut with it. I got my '89-91' core support for free but had to buy the rest and spent well over his ask price.

Yes, I'm near the heart of Texas. Im looking for a hood. What years does he have? Mine is a '78 so I assume '73 to '80 would match up? Can always use more tailgate parts too, especially manual crank. Thems gettin rare.

From what I remember he didn't have any tail gates, I'll message him about the hood, he had a bunch of squares.

All he had were Suburbans, do you have one or will those parts fit in a Blazer gate?

The hoods will fit as long as they're pre '80. I believe they changed the hinge set up at some point. I assume it was the same from '73 to '80. Can someone straighten me out on this. The only things that changed in this year's we're the full convertible top & the foot well in the bed right?

No I don't have a burb. I've got a '78 blazer. I also have two '77s. One is from Colorado, has the worst cancer I've ever seen. So bad the side view mirrors are rusted through behind the glass. But it has a good drive train with a sb400/th350/np203. I planned on building the other with it. It's from around the Dallas area and belonged to some sort of law enforcement agency. Prolly park rangers? I never have any time for the build hince the '78. I did purchase and install a 14bolt and D44 with 4" rancho springs. Got 5 pretty sweet 15"x10" 8 lug Craigers. A lot of grinding on the front calipers & dust cover involved with those. Also have a giant box of sheet metal from LMC. Floor pans, kickers, rockers. A body mount kit also to get that 3" body lift out of it. Now I'm considering putting the Axel's under the '78. Or should I continue with the build when I get some time one day:thinking:

I'm in New Braunfels and have a 79 hood for sale. Couple rust holes in the front part but it's straight and original gm. Been blasted and primed. I don't have a picture but it's totally workable

IMG_20171231_091430837.jpg Would like to see these holes. I have an after market Hood on my '78. I don't like the high-rise cowl thingy it has. I prefer the stock hoods. I'm new here and tech illiterate but let's see if I can get a pic of it in here

Obijuank5, I just read your build thread. Nice rig! That hood bouncing around in your bed isn't the one your talking about is it?:waytogo: I kid. I once lost a spare tire that way. Good to see some guys close to me on this site. Looks like I'm about at the halfway mark between you and Scribbles. I'm in Georgetown.

Just read your build thread Scribbles. That's awesome, one of my '77s has the same background as Barney. I'm tempted to let you take the other '77 for the power plant for cheap. If your interested in sb400 that is. Has 5 nice wheels and almost newIMG_20171231_111418614.jpg BFGs too. The wife keeps nagging me to get rid of it

I'm interested in the 400 but don't want to lose the 700r4 (overdrive) that I have. What's the benefit of the transfer case swap?

The parts guy got back to me and said he didn't have the early hood.

Thanks for checking. What transfer case do you have now? Either way you won't want the tcase in this one. It's a 203. Full time 4x4. Awesome in the snow & ice but we don't get much of that around here.
