So I suppose this is post 1 of my 3rd build that already has a lot of history. It's important to remember that I'm just taking over where Matt left off and I respect and admire the amount of hours he and other brothers on this site sank into this truck. With that said, I ended up buying Boondock5 rig as some of you may know. I am going to finish the build, however I am going to change some things up.

Prior to buying this I have been working on a 73' Blazer. This is what lead me to this purchase. I needed to buy tires and wheels for my 73' and I wanted the same ones that were on Matt's rig. I also needed DOM tubing for my 73' cage build. He had 10 22ft sticks of it. So it was a no brainer. Eventhough the 89' is closer to being completed than my 73', Im gonna concentrate on my 73'. I've invested a lot of time in it, and lets face it..... its my build.

I am not going to part out the 89' . I'm gonna swap tires and rims with my 73'. I am going to swap out the drive slugs on the 89' with my 73' locking hubs because I have an ARB in it and with the 89' spooled up its too hard to manuver. I will more than likely sell the mini spools and put in Detroit lockers front/rear. I will more than likely move the rear axle forward about 1 ft'. I have a few more ideas but Ill get into that when I get there. Nothin' major. I think it will be more of a family rig due to its size because everyone will fit in it.

Might be interested in the drive slugs. However I need to do axles first and I am broke so it will be awhile.
