IF I had cash I would jump on that. I paid $4K for my stock crew cab. Why are you considering this? Hate seeing guys come to this, but I do understand. It's a clean looking truck too. I hope you reconsider and get a renewed fire to keep it and get it done. Mine may never get done either but I will die with it.

Would sure be nice if I could un load this thing with someone who appreciates what's gone into it. Its about to go up on KSL clasifieds and craigslist.

Up on KSL classifieds...

The problem with parting out a truck, once you start parting it. your stuck with the left over unsold parts.

I would hate to see it come to that, but of course I don't have enough of my stuff sold off to come get it from you!!!

Very nice truck. It would be rough parting it out. That being said, there are a ton of nice parts on it and I'll be watching for it. Good luck man.

How hard would it be to make it driveable? Or atleast what would it need to run?

Run =1 - 6' of 3/8 fuel hose, 4 hose clamps for the fuel hose. you get to mount the fuel filter and hose.
2 - Have driveshafts built, I have the 1410 yokes and a slip yoke they go with the truck.
3 - Build a mount for the battery, and positive cable to reach the starter and winch. a negative cable to reach the frame from the battery(new owner needs to buy these, I don't have any). I will send a good used battery with the truck.
4 - a 4' x 5' piece of 1/16th thickness sheet metal to cover the hole cut in the floor to fit the doubler.
5 - Manufacture the exhaust system from what I send with the truck. The engine has stock TBI manifolds bolted on all ready. I have a stock new TBI "Y" pipe and 4' of straight 3"D pipe and a new universal cat and a new glasspack muffler. All goes with the truck. The "Y" does not fit correctly because of the doubler mounting/crossmember. Needs a little modification, well, alot. any muffler shop could make it work.
6 - Mount the 1997 GMC truck "captain" seats that I'm sending with the truck. You will need to complete the floor modification due to hole cut for doubler.
7 - Finish wiring up the windstar fans I mounted to the radiator. Also purchase a temp sending unit to operate them with. I'll send a new relay with the truck.
8 - Purchase a 4" lift drag link from ORD or similar. I have a straight piece of bar which works well for just steering it around the yard, pushing it. But, it has almost maxed out the GM 1 ton TRE on both ends. The angle is just too much for a straight draglink. Leaving almost no room for articulation.
9 -Probably have some 5' long hydraulic hoses made for the hydro-assist, between the ported box and the ram. I have 2 hoses on there now, they are 3" long and will be hard pressed to reach full flex of the front springs. definitely need 5 footers.
10 - Mount the rear wiring and rear lights which I will send with the truck. (2 - 2-1/2 ton military truck sealed lights, complete with attached wiring)
11 - Mount up the Zgate shifter and attach it to the transmission.
12 - and, of course do the initial start up of the engine...
13 - Sorry forgot, needs a master cylinder a bit of brake line, plus fab up a E brake handle to finish the E-brake aet up I designed. AND mount up the rear shocks, which come with the truck, plus a couple of ford shock brackets.

EXTRA - DOM tubing if purchased to bend up a roll cage.

I have the title free and clear. I have never registered the truck as I bought it non-running.

Even if someone bought this at this price just for the parts to turn their DD truck into something really bad ass. its a great price just for all the parts combined.

I wish you were closer (like lots closer) and my Jeep was sold so I had some cash! Man what a great rig you've got there! I hope you don't have to part it out, that'd be a shame! Good luck with sale bro!

Yep, it is a great build. I really wish it hadn't happened like this.
But, hopefully the soon to be new owner can finish it and wheel the piss out it!
