89 crewcab with 6.5TD want to put a nv4500

hey all, i got a 89 CC with a 6.5 TD and 400 and i believe a 205. I want to replace the turbo 400 with a nv4500. I plan on getting a cummins some time down the line. Crewcab59 told me which year to get, but it was for the 454 i had in my last truck and i forgot anyway Anyway what am I looking at part wise to do such a thing and any measurments if some has got em.

On the Nv4500 trans get a chevy 96 4x4 or newer,that way you can run the set up you have now.When the Cummins conversion starts,will only need the swap out the input shaft,and get a Cummins bellhousing.

If you use a dodge now you'll have to swap out the output shaft which the trans has to come apart to use your Gm t-case..

You'll need a chevy bellhousing ,Nv4500 trans 4x4 96 or newer,hyd clutch parts ,clutch pedels for the year of thr truck.

any specifics on the hyd clutch parts cuz i have no idea. And do i need 1 pedal or an entire pedal assembly out of a truck with a manual gear box? Thanks again Crew, looking to maybe head out that way in sept?

You need Clutch parts from 86-91 (Truck,Blazer,Suburban).
Complete hyd clutch pedals,Matser cylinder,slave cylinder,Steel/rubber line,Resevoir Cup and hose.

To remove the pedal assy to your have to remove the steering colume!
