89 FI gas tank...

...has been sitting out, uncovered. (thanks to my son).

Took a look in it, some dirt, but there's some real black, gummy looking goop in it. Old gas, water & dirt.

What would be a good cleaner for it, or should I just replace it?

drain it.

add 1 gal kero slosh arund a bit.

drain it.

repet if still crappy.

Most radiator shops can clean it in their vat for $40-50.
