friend has an 89 chevy c2500 ext cab.
one day it just wouldnt start. not even turn over, so i assumed starter. tested power to the solnoid , good, bat power to the other side of the solnoid also good.
pulled the starter and benched tested it. worked fine. so i re tested the ignition wire to the solnoid, no power
re installed starter, got it to crank, but battery was dead so i hooked my blazer up to it to charge. try to re start it, no power to the solnoid. trace it up to the back of the motor and i got intermitt power,
ran out of light so im coming to you guys. what would cause a truck to just lose power to the ignition side of the solnoid but be intermitten?
those have an ignition switch correct? could it be going bad? or am i looking at tracing a bad connection?
